Update - 3 17 09

Today was a lot better in terms of my research progress - atleast better than my whole spring break combined.
I got to:
  • get some more ideas to tweak my algorithm (boy! would I be doing it till the day I defend?)
  • analyze some prelim results and they were very satisfying. There is only one user profile that exhibits out-of-expected behavior but I would like to keep it in my user group, just so that I get to change my algorithm to cover that corner case too. But, there is only so much that can be done with my algorithm and I'm tempted sometimes to remove that profile. Lets wait and watch!
  • started one run for a main result analysis - ended today morning - yet to take a look at it.
  • spoke to my advisor and finalized some more leads.
In all, a satisfying day's job, provided the time I had between class and spending time with friends. My Rutgers friends left yesterday night and I spent some time with them. Also, wasted some good amount of time reading blogs(damn! stop it!!).
See you with the next update.
