Friends,if you have any such quotations, then give those Tornados a direction towards my mailbox.

Though I have reservations about a few of these quotes, on introspection, they seem to be true. Atleast, each of them would make a good topic for contemplation on a rainy afternoon or on a sleepless night with no other soul for company. Try it! You'll learn loads about yourself. Keeping a journal of such times would enhance the journey. After such a free wheeled ride on your mind, you would feel so rejuvenated and you would have become your own best friend! Do tell me your comments and views on it!

You think of Political philosophies on a rainy afternoon? sleepless nights?
hmmmm, interesting.. Are you single? :)
> After such a free wheeled ride on
> your mind, you would feel so
> rejuvenated and you would have
> become your own best friend!
yeah, u r right. but the problem with quotes or any advice u hear for that matter, is that it is very temporary for that moment. otherwise nobody will make any mistake, rite?
i think the best comes out of contemplation of things happened/happening to u or those arnd u. They may teach the same leason in life maybe even less significant but, it will some effect on life. atleast to me,any quote or thinking about any quote hasnt changed me. i will only feel the same after watching a feel-good-movie :-). but yeah, we dont have the liberty to learn from our own exp always. it mite be costly. but effective?
anyway thats only my personal opinion. but keep writing quotes, i like to read them :)
There is a fine line between the truth and the absolute truth: we need to learn that. Can we have some non-quote posts now please?
Look .. someone started quoting ...
real rice of ... as i always..
"there is Nothing in outsourcing knowledge... " in " ariva outsource pannandrathu thappaa illa" thats more rhyming...
Few of the facts but... few abberations from facts....
Anand, thinking about them once in a while is actually fun. Yeah, I'm "busy being single".:)
Arun, you can usually match up the quotes with real life experiences. Sometimes, we'd be bogged down by the experiences. A quote or a saying, read somewhere, will drive the point home... just like a lightning flash. That is totally fun!
Sudipta, true! I'm right now coming back from a hiatus... So a post is on its way :)
Velocity, well... I didn't get what u said... Anyways, thanks for ur comments
> you can usually match up the quotes > with real life experiences
yeah bcos latter brings the former. (case of a conjunction?).
but seriously most of the qoutes are though quite obvious, makes u feel happy/energized for short time. u r lucky if u can keep the energy prolonged. in my exp, exp are more prolonged and has real effect.
i think what "Velocity" meant was we are ( preaching or spreading )the ideas of philosophers.
I meant that there is nothing wrong accepting sayings and other stuff as long as they hold good for reality...
These quotes are a classical example where u find something said before 2 thousand years is so apt.. even today in every aspect .. though there are r few exaggerations.. like the one that goes like.
""Never make friends with people who are above or below you in status. Such friendships will never give you any happiness." " coz it is not inline with the current world... otherwise the quotes sound ., more like facts which the harsh reality offers..
One more thing... Arun is right.. atleast in one prespective..
